The joysticks to the left use physical carbon track potentiometers. As you move the stick, metal wipers slide across a resistive track. The controller reads position based on changing electrical resistance.Why stick drift happens?Because the wiper physically rubs the resistive surface, the material slowly wears down or becomes dirty, causing inaccurate readings even when the stick is centered.

ance) Joysticks
TMR uses magnetic sensors instead of physical contact. The magnet attached to the stick moves over a TMR sensor, and Position is detected by changes in magnetic field resistance. because there is no contact, it is very unlikely for stick drift to occur with TMR joysticks.
